We take into consideration role benchmarking, local benchmarking, ownership & how work is conducted for all the roles before deciding on our compensation model. Each role is divided into different levels, and your compensation will depend on the level you’re currently at.

😎 Profit Sharing

Upstack Studio has been customer-funded since the beginning. We didn’t raise funding. We have no desire to sell. In fact, we don’t even have an exit strategy. So stock options might not be the best way to reward our team members. Instead, we focus on profit sharing!

We offer medical insurance to all our team members once confirmed after the probation period.

Every year, our team gets to claim up to RM200 for any clinic visits when you’re feeling under the weather.

We contribute to KWSP, SOCSO & EIS for all employees.

🦩 Annual Leave

Team members are entitled to at least 12 days of annual leave per year + all public holidays in Malaysia. That can sometimes go up to a total of 28-30 days of paid time off. Employees who are with us for a longer period will get up to 18 days of annual leave.
